Three products from our UltiMeat range, developed in collaboration with Quorn Pro, have passed the Craft Guild of Chefs Product Endorsement Programme.
Our 114g burger, meatballs and 2kg mince have all been approved under the scheme, one of the foodservice industry’s independent quality benchmarks.
The programme puts products in front of experienced chefs from across hospitality, including stadium catering, care homes, education and healthcare. Products are judged on appearance, flavour, cooking behaviour and suitability for professional kitchens, with panels assessing performance under real service conditions rather than in a test kitchen.
What the Chefs Found
Testers across the range noted strong appearance, good moisture retention, low shrinkage and versatility across different dishes and service styles.
One tester rated UltiMeat above other meat-and-plant blends they’d previously worked with, citing better texture and moisture control after cooking.
Where It Could Be Used
Testers pointed to potential across foodservice sectors, particularly high-volume operations looking to reduce meat content without losing the qualities customers expect from a traditional dish. Budget was flagged as the leading factor in menu decisions.
Why It Matters
The Craft Guild of Chefs Approved Product list is reserved for items that pass a chef-led evaluation process, intended to give operators confidence to use products without testing them independently first. This endorsement sits alongside our own internal quality checks.
